There's more than a few sad Rogues in the world today...

MILWAUKEE, Wisconsin (AP) -- Gary Gygax, who co-created the fantasy game Dungeons & Dragons and helped start the role-playing phenomenon, died Tuesday morning at his home in Lake Geneva. He was 69.
Thanks, Gary! The world is a better place for the fantasy and fun you inspired!

Thank you Jen for writing about this.

I have never played Dungeons and Dragons, but I know how much impact it has had on the fantasy and gaming world.

Record of Lodoss War, which is one of my favorite manga and anime series, is heavily based on D and D. I remember watching the D and D cartoon back in the 80s, and I even watched the 2000 movie.

May he rest in peace. He will be remembered fondly.
