Blow me down - September 19 is “Talk like a Pirate” day!

Now you too, can sound like a real pirate. Mango Languages offers “Pirate” as one of its over 30 language offerings. You too can learn how to say “Oh my gosh the ship isn’t moving” (Blow me down, the ship’s becalmed) and “Holy cow!” (Shiver me timbers) in Pirate using Mango’s free language course.

Head on over to the Homework Help section of the Library's Teen Central website for a link to Mango Languages.
Just remember that a pirate’s favorite letter is ARRR!
